I guess I wont be around here much next week. I told my chair I was almost done with to section around 40 pages and Id finish up next week. I have a sick family member, and honestly, Im doing a lot to help them. However, I cant tell my chair that, because last year I was sick, and that slowed things down. If I say, Oh no, Im nursing a family member back to health, she would think I was BSing.

And to be totally honest, Im not 100 percent either. Three weeks ago, there wasnt a day that went by that I wasnt in the hospital or doctors office for myself or my family member. Anywho, today, when I turned in practically nothing, I said, Oh, I have two more sections almost done and will be ready on Sunday.

So I know what Im going to do. Stop trying to get Copilot to make the perfect fox Elsa, keep posting about weight loss because that is important, and get to work. Seven pages a day isnt hard. But seven quality pages a day is grueling.

And let's be honest, when I don't take my time to write stuff, I write like Rocky Balboa speaks.

I wrote my dissertation in a week. That was just shy of 25,000 words.

Got my 7 pages for the day. I am going to keep going since I have to see the doctor on Wednesday.

Idk if this works better for you, but I use Pomodoro and it's done wonders for a guy with a fried attention span.

The short version is 25 minutes of work with five minute breaks until a longer 15 minute break after the fourth, I believe.

I can't sit down and power through things a lot of the time without my brain feeling on fire so this works super well.

Thank you, I will give it a try tomorrow . The funny thing is after dinner and page 7, I came back to the topic to talk about getting 8 pages done complete forgetting that I posted about 7. I deleted that since I didn't want to look like I was just bumping my own post for no reason, however at the point I knew it was over for today. I am about to box, and sleep.

Work culture is wild.

Break it up into doable parts and stop looking at the 40 page number.

Got no work done today. A an issue with my Oscar tank. And had to change everything in it , I thought a working from home day would let me get more work done..but nope. And tomorrow I got to go to the Doctor. So I have to put it into high gear when I get back from that .

I don't think that would fly. I don't like cheating and I think they have things that can check those. How about if 10 years down the line, I am getting an award for the first and someone runs a scan and see that I did that. I would lose everything unless I am a politician which my love for catgirls stops me from being. Hell people will see my Fox Elsa and I would be gone .

Finish with 5 more pages done today. And tomorrow looks like it is going to be hard to get anything done. No work. But I have to make to doctors appointments and take a family member to get their car fixed. Heavy is the head that wears the crown.

Finally back home. My family member I was going helping with their car. Car got hit with some metal crap on the way to get thing serviced, so that caused so much more stuff. Then my mum wanted my help at graves of my grandparents. Then some other stuff happened so all day long. Didn't get to work out and ate too much. Like I can't believe I can't just get a free day to work on things.

I know I am talking to myself at this point. But this post is keeping me going.
My foot issues came back. And I was like what the hell. So I can't walk again. And like honest to Heaven. Like If I told my chair all the shit that is going on there would be no way she would believe me. Anywho got 10 pages down.

All I have to do is one more section that I really don't have to do. So I am make it quick. This on the psychologically impact of racism on someone. But then the big one that I have to do is a historiography section. Fuck the Historiographic section.
