If God curses us with another Trump presidency, he'd still be the 45th president.

Vacant was the 45th POTUS and if Biden loses in November, Vacant will be the 47th as well.

isnt an nth president basically their run? They have have 8 straight years, they would just be the 45th. But if they have 4 years, someone else is the 46th for 4 years, then the next 4 years has the 45th again, then that person would be the 45th and 47th president. If the 46th had 8 years, they would be the 46th for those 8 years I dont think its more correct to say that the 45ths second run is still the 45th. Because it split up into two runs of them being president. They changed their minds 4 years in and got someone else, and then changed their minds again later, they didnt keep the position for a continuous 8 years, they lost it and got it back ...
