I'll give it a 6.5/10

The characters could have been expanded on more. There was a thing for Lily that was brought up and then never mentioned by any character ever again, which was odd. EVE is cool but needed just a bit more personality. Tachy was wasted, hugely, probably the biggest flaw of all. She does pretty much nothing

Pacing was bad. The desert is a giant sore spot in the middle of the game full of meh collecting chores while nothing interesting happens.

Could have used more environment variety than brown. There was a bit of snow later but it was so short...

Combat is just okay. Movement is clunky. Yellow dodge timing is weird, delayed, and unintuitive to the point I'd just save beta for knockdown to interrupt it or just sprint away and never deal with that garbage. Parry timing felt fine. Kinda repetitive, needs more variety.

Story is dull and forgettable. Nothing really happens

The outfit collection is clearly the best part. So many great choices.

Hope they make a sequel, as it is it just feels incomplete.

Agree on the criticisms on the yellow dodge mechanics. It does seem hit and miss. I enjoy the side quests but not a fan of the whole youve just completed an area now go back and pick up some random items especially the linear levels with no maps where the sparsely placed fast travel points often mean trial and error trying to find the correct ones to get to the area you need to return to.

For me Id give it 7.5/10.

"Quick" travel was annoying. Get to a phone, load another area, go to a phone again... really bad design.

Too much repeat dialogue with shop NPCs and the quest board

It's hard to think of positive things about this game

Also the annoying delay before you can skip text. It's only like half a second but still.

This game is a 7 posing as a 9. I find myself saying this more than I like when it comes to videogames, but I think a sequel that cleans things up could be pretty great, (because there's definitely fun to be had here).

What a shocker, the boner beacon held up by coomers as Jizz Jesus, saving them from the evils of Western games, is ultimately mid at best.

Damn you gave a harsher grade than IGN and they're the ones being called "prude" when they never mention anything about Eve's booty in their review.

I had 2 friends who played this game and one of them gave a pretty harsh score while the other one gave it a 8/10, but did call it "baby's first sekiro game".
