I technically beat the game but I didn't care for the ending I got so I might try to get back to evil or very evil karma. Maybe I'll just massacre Jacobstown, Primm and Goodsprings

I switched to using Raul because I thought I'd get negative NCR rep and Boone would leave but it never dropped below Idolized. Maybe I'll just start a new playthrough as a big dumb guy who hits things with a hammer

Karma always felt like something that Obsidian was contractually obligated to bring back in NV simply because it was in Fallout 3; like in FO3 it's still hilariously half-baked (especially compared to the faction rep system), and you have to go well out of your way to get and maintain Evil karma considering that you get easy and plentiful Good Karma for killing certain basic enemies like Fiends and Feral Ghouls.

I suppose if you were of a mind to speedrun NV, you could beeline to the Strip, talk to Yes Man (might even be able to skip Benny altogether), deal with House, ignore the other factions, and be ready for Hoover Dam 2 in like 3-5 short quests.

A fight against a hostile patrol or nest of enemies usually is exciting. :)
