What would happen if a super progressive person got elected pope and started doing dramatic reforms of the catholic church?

Priests can marry
Support for gay people
Complete and total crackdown on predator priests worldwide. No more protection. They get instantly defrocked and sent to the police

no, a pope cannot be impeached. bishops would faction-off and possibly create a 2nd pope, but they would probably be the minority by far.
