I was already spoiled that Caesar and Blue Eyes were gonna die but I was relieved to see Caesar died after accomplishing what he set out to do

Honestly people overrate these movies. Lol at Caesar understanding sign language when he's not even looking at the signer

And people make them out to be uplifting positive films ... but humanity basically gets wiped tf out. I don't blame any of the humans who kill apes because the rest of their species is basically extinct and from their perspective it's due to the apes. How would you feel if the rest of humankind including your family was wiped out because of a virus inherited from apes, who were replacing your kind as the dominant species?

I liked them but I never watched them more than once. I felt Rise of the Planet of the Apes was the best one.

They're still fine films, though. I guess pretty much every movie will have some silly shit in it lol

It's just that it's hard seeing the positive message in a movie where humankind gets wiped out. Christ it would be horrifying if apes became intelligent
