This is not a remotely fleshed out idea, and it quite possibly never will be. Best case it'll be the next project after PotY, worst case it'll be a lil mental exercise for myself. Leaning towards the latter.

What if, I mashed up some elements of B8UCA (voters decide matches) and B8WL (NPCs are booked by rolling on charts, I fluff up the results to present them)? I'm thinking:
-The roster would be made up of NPCs of some sort, not B8ers doing roleplaying (IRL pro wrestlers? Video game characters? User-crafted OCs?)
-Users vote on the outcomes of "wrestling matches,"
-Matches are GENERALLY determined by votes, but I'll also have tables to roll on that will have some influence on match outcomes and story progression. I'll take both of those inputs and do mini-writeups as the official results.
-I'll give myself a bit more control than I do with other board game wrestling sims- the tables will be bespoke, the results will be a bit flexible and open to interpretation, I'll use my judgement to apply bonii and penalties (before the roll) like an RPG DM.

Discussion questions:
-Does that idea sound appealing at all? Is not having an RP element a dealbreaker?
-What would you want me to use for a roster? I'm leaning towards fictional characters of some sort.
-How much control would you be willing to cede to dice? (ie, is it cool if Wigs beats XIII 9-7 but then XIII wins the match because the dice said Nick ran in for a +3 bonus? Or should it ONLY be used for flavor and storylines?)
-If B8 goes kaput or I get b7, which (if any) platforms would you be willing to participate on? Old UCA board? Discord? A separate Discord? B8train? Carrier pigeon?
-Any PPV concepts (UCA, B8WL, WWE, anything) you particularly would or wouldn't want to see in the rotation?

I will bump this one (1) time and then give up on interest
