correct

oh also bit of trivia for every one in the novels its not sadakos ghost that kills you

there is no ghost in the novels

instead sadako imprinted the small pox virus psychicly on a video tape and you get the small pox virus by watching it

and then the series gets dumber after that

there is a reason the movies ignore the novels
