Customer: Yes. Me: Do you want the data I have on you? Customer: No Me: So you just want to cancel the service without getting any of the data you have for using the service? I worked for Verizon CS very briefly as my first job. Cancelations were awful. Verizon would change the rules after baiting people into contracts and we had to talk the customer down. The call would take like an hour to cancel someone's service unless they said the magic words.
