Basically the store manager cant put out schedules at a reasonable time, and is literally finishing them two or three days before the schedule is due and is upset Ive picked up more hours else from my full time instead of waiting to see how many hours I get there.

this is why UK has laws against this bullshit. schedules should be posted 30 days ahead of time, minimum.

...

I don't understand the problem, he gets them out days before they are due.

So doesn't that mean he is releasing them before he even needs to have it done?

We are required to have out schedules posted three weeks in advance, I don't know if that is a typical standard though.

assuming this is good faith...

people need more than 10 seconds for work schedules ffs.

UK has like 60 day scheduling requirements because shit like this keeps you locked in dead-in jobs instead of being able to do things like schedule a job interview or go to the dentist or whatever the fuck

All TC said is the dude releases the schedule days before it is due. When is it due? Like I said, my job requires schedules to be released three weeks in advance, so that would mean, if this applied to me, I'd have the schedule 24-25 days ahead of time.

What's REALLY fun is when they require YOU to turn in time-off request 4 weeks ahead of time but THEY don't make the schedule until the last minute

I can see the confusion.

By Due, I mean the latest you can actually put the schedule out, meaning the Friday or Saturday before it starts.

For example we just got into about the schedule for may 26 because shes just now started working on it. ( this is her getting better after her gm pressed her about it)

it should of been done two weeks ago.

If that is how it is then yeah, shit sucks. Hell, I've got a schedule 6 months out. Only the first three weeks of that are guaranteed though. Guess I'm spoiled then? Been with this company for 2 decades so I assumed that was fairly standard.
