Got FX. Required a minor donation to Hoyo, but I dont really mind dropping $15 after playing this game for almost a year for free.

I wonder if any of the IPC 10 or whatever will top Topaz in looks. Tbh Im not expecting to want any of the others, but heres hoping. Next patch just gonna be 6~ weeks of saving and trying to improve the characters I have on me.

Same re: saving. Will be nice to have a break patch, Ive been spreading my jades a bit thin over the past few. Pulled for Sparkle, Acheron, Aventurine, Topaz and FX all in a row.

That will definitely dent your savings yeah. I havent made any progress on the latest PF or MoC beyond what I already got up to. PF stage 4 I just cannot kill stuff fast enough to get 2 stars with anything I try using and the damage DoT robots do a ton of damage if you cant cleanse them fast enough

I feel the same, but only after Firefly hits. Given who they've shown from the Xianzhou so far, maybe 3 months of saving.

Jiaoqiu is going to be a strong test of 'character design that doesn't necessarily appeal to me' vs "That guy would work real well with that Acheron you have there"..

Oh yeah, Jiaoqiu is my next planned pull. Hes gonna be too good with Acheron to not have.

It looks like she's specifically designed as a support Hunt that boost a multi-Hunt team, likely best in that new boss rush mode. Also means we have someone else who wants the Acheron Planar set!

Finally some type of Yanqing buff lol. Considering she gets better the faster and more moves her hunt allies do, though....still better with every other 5* Hunt.

Is there any way to apply a debuff either with March or with a Hunt light cone? I'm curious about sticking her onto Dr. Ratio for the follow-up-attack team but am worried about keeping up enough debuffs.

It seems at least possible either way because I can get 1 from Aventurine's ult, 1 from Trend of the Universal Market, 1 from Topaz, and 1 from Ratio himself, but I don't know if all of those are reliable enough.

I am actually slightly annoyed by how these are just hard replacement characters that do exactly the same thing as existing characters but better? Not like if the same thing, almost exactly the same thing.

It's not as bad with Jiao, since Guin is a 4*. Yunli however is just 6* Clara. And I really LIKE using Clara, which is why I'm a little frustrated that she's now a completely irrelevant unit by comparison.

Also feeling a bit conspitacyish that the reason they completely changed the new Relic set from being Clara BiS to being worthless on her was intentional to keep her stock lower prior to Yunli's release.

Ok that LC art has sold me on Yunlis cuteness level so I think Ill pull for her

Topaz LC applies a debuff. March also gains a Followup attack in her kit at E2 so she gets full benefits.

Yeah I guess I should have said non-limited light cone. I don't have Topaz's light cone or her eidolons since I basically got her by accident while throwing a few jades to get some 4-star eidolon levels.

They're 100% going to buff JQ in spite of him already being very good, calling it right now

He's Nihil!Robin with the option to eventually upscale into a full Harmony's worth of buffing and by far the best DoT unit in the game and they're still gonna have to add sauce to him cause the playerbase will not stop doomposting about his badness and it's gonna be unbelievably funny, can't wait to see it

March is a fascinating unit. Immense multipliers on her kit but I think her secret sauce might still be pairing her to a sustain. You can get away with some immensely dumb stuff using her and Gallagher as a tandem for example. Gonna have to think about her best combinations a little but I suspect she can reasonably replace Ratio on team IPC for those without dolphin investments into topaz and avent and she should be a hellacious Robin carrier. Looks very strong and, just as importantly, both unbelievably cute and profoundly true to the genre fiction she's inspired by. Really good work by Hoyo imo.

Might try Topaz, March, Yunli & Xueyi even though theres no real sustain or anything there

Lost the 50/50 to Bronya E1, which is certainly not the worst outcome. I can probably get more use out of her now to be honest. I had enough jades to get Firefly anyways, which of course I did. At around 70 pity in both cases. Jades are running pretty low now though. Probably skipping Yunli but I kind of want Jade and I kind of want the foxian dude, which hopefully is possible.

Other spoils:
--The rest of of my Gallagher's eidolons.
--Another superimposition level for Good Night and Sleep Well
--Another Memories of the Past, which I am actually going to give to Harmony MC instead of leveling up my copy on Ruan Mei to S2.
--Somehow only 1 Xueyi eidolon ffs but whatever it's better than nothing.

Won 3 straight 50/50s for Firefly E2, this is the luckiest day of my life

Apocalyptic Shadow beated with full stars. That was kinda boring and repetitive.

For first node I used Acheron/Sparkle/Kafka/Fu Xuan, with the Ultimate buff.

For second node I used Himeko/HMC/Ruan Mei/Gallagher with the super break buff. This one clearly intended for Firefly, but if Himeko is good enough for a boss mode, idk what to tell you other than super break is busted for this.

Well Firefly paid me back for not wasting all her money on the date by coming at 29 pity with a 4th 50/50 win in a row.

So I felt so good about it I decided to roll Ruan Mei til 5 star since I had so many tickets left, bank it if I lost the 50/50 for Silver Wolf, Huohuo, or Yunli... but I won the 5th in a row too.

So yeah. Have Firefly and Ruan Mei now. And still a decent chunk of savings for whoever shows up next. Probably back to guarantee by the time the next patch rolls around.

Is Bailu e2 useful?

Not really an authority overall but my somewhat informed guess is probably not really. From what I know you generally want Bailu to be using her skill as little as possible and only using her ult and buff from it to sustain. So unless you are ulting again within 2 turns it doesn't seem that great unless things are going wrong.

I mean it's still a buff but I doubt it's a hugely impact full eidolon to get for usability.

Finished the new Trailblaze mission.

Was a bit shorter and didn't have as much to it, but I didn't have any complaints. Jade seems like a pretty cool character. I'm also steadily getting more interested in whenever we will finally meet Diamond.

Low-key the most interesting thing was the text message you get from Sparkle after the whole mission is done.

Yeah, it was a fine epilogue to Penacony. I enjoyed it.
