Lots of verbatim lines from known videos, lots of Disney/Marvel things (especially in the third episode, no wonder this is on Hulu).
It was enough to get me to the end of the miniseries. Also watched the ABC 20/20 special and just about everything in The Act is accurate. Maybe not the Wolverine bit. Also curious where they got the pink house lookalike for the show. I don't think they used the actual building that this all happened. And I guess it worked out for Gypsy in the end. My grandmother says that she had a rough start in life and feels bad about the abuse she suffered from her mother. I can't exactly say I would not speak out myself if I was in that situation; I hid a wound on my armpit for years and by the time my grandparents found out I needed surgery.
