Disney had 4 of the top 5 movies from 2023 that were considered the biggest "Bombs" money-wise.

Haunted Mansion at -117 Million
Wish at -131 Million
Indiana Jones at -143 Million
Marvels -237 Million

Is it just a fact that they're churning out so much content, all with huge budgets, that the law of averages will have them be the leader in movie bombs?

The one, for me, that gets a pass is Indiana Jones, considering it still finished as the 16th best grossing movie of the year, but at a budget of over half a billion, WTF were they thinking?

The budgets were inflated due to shooting during Covid.

Covid ruined the budgets and in some cases the scripts. But really theyre just hiring bad writers.

Movies are too expensive to go to theater for. Family of four could easily drop $100 on a visit. Or just wait like 6 weeks for it to come to your living room.

The trick is to realize that a movie theater isn't a restaurant.

50 movies grossed over $100 Million, so people were still going.

Obviously not at the rate they were going in the past, but it has to be more than it used to cost me $60 to go to the movies, now it costs $100
