I know some of y'all have played this and I trust B8 more than randos.

I played with keyboard and mouse and I think it would feel very weird/frustrating with a controller, but I've never tried. Playing it with controller would be better than not playing it at all though

Okay, so here were my thoughts:
- There is a specific traversal ability with plentiful mandatory usage that I found quite difficult to use for precision reasons while using a keyboard and mouse setup
- Keyboard and Mouse is considerably easier/better for painting

Because I used that traversal move optionally a ton in addition to when I was required, I ultimately used a controller more.

I'm pretty sure I played on PC with controller mostly, and sometimes mouse. You never need to draw anything specific so it doesn't really matter. That said, it's definitely not as good with controllers as Okami, so you might feel like it's lacking if you do want to draw in more detail.

I played it on Switch which has the benefit of switching to touchscreen as needed

I don't think precision was super necessary but might make for a more enjoyable experience

I played the whole thing with controller on PC and had no real issues.

I payed it with a controller on Xbox and had no issues. There's fill options if manually colouring stuff in is too bothersome.
