I literally mentioned in the first post that the Electoral College is the problem here, as these polls are only about swing states instead of the whole country (Biden is presumably beating Trump nationally). Nobody in the topic did what you're referring to.

There's still a difference between taking the very real threat of a second Trump president seriously and not feeding an increasingly-obvious shitstirring alt (or falling victim to the media's cynical attempts to twist this election cycle into a horserace at every opportunity to boost ratings).

Plus right wing trolls in 261 made about eight 500 post topics a day before every presidential election that I ever saw for the six months leading up to election day.

And this topic is one of those.

Joe Biden has run a few campaigns. He knows what to do and more importantly when to do it.

This isn't going to 500 (it's not that controversial or arguable) and I'm not right-wing. What CE has to learn is how to handle serious discussions at an adult level.

Michigan and Pennsylvania have only become more blue in their elections since 2020 so I'm extremely hesitant to put a whole lot of weight on those polls.

Arizona as well as had solidly rejected MAGA candidates.

On one hand polls do tend to carry water (usually) on the other hand they said no way in hell trump wins in 16.

Could be avoided if Biden wasn't trash. People who blame voters for his loss of support instead of his actions have no business telling anyone else what to do.
