You can either follow the guide listed above or watch the first three seasons of Buffy and then watch Angel with the understanding that the Buffy shit is going on simultaneously. Relient_K 05/14/24 8:15:27 PM #9:	Angel is an extremely fun show. It maintains quality (mostly) throughout with one season being kind of weak (3 or 4, can't remember which). Buffy has much lower lows and less consistent highs, and I feel like it really falls off for seasons 4 and 7. --- We all ate the biscuits, Fighter. So I was completely shocked at characters like Cordelia and Wesley being wildly different on Buffy. Cordelia was a bully and Wesley was portrayed as an unlikable tool. Bringit 05/15/24 8:53:20 AM #19:	If you're a Buffy fan it's worth watching through for no other reason than Season 5 being the final bit of live-action Buffy-verse in continuity (it's set after Buffy Season 7). That said the overall show is very good with a bunch of memorable characters, some you'll already know and they develop in really cool, unexpected ways. I personally don't think it's as consistent or hits the highs of Buffy and one season in particular is borderline headache inducing but there's a ton to love in there. The characterizations especially. Just keep in mind that it starts off a little try-hard... Angel with a grappling hook like he's Batman was certainly a choice.
