i wish they'd just pull a reverse-FMA 2003 and just redo everything after that. only the very first arc of shippuden really felt like what i'd been waiting for

jesus christ the whole latter half of shippuden takes place over the course of like a week wtf such a disaster of writing

also anyone who says it should've ended after Pain is crazy. tired of that take. it was not a natural ending spot at all, the amount of completely loose ends was still massive

tbh, I didn't really care about Shippuden outside of Naruto vs Pain, Sasuke vs Itachi, and the stuff with Shikamaru and Hidan.

What I don't get about Boruto is that it actively goes out of its way to nerf Naruto and Sasuke in fear of them speedrunning any and all new villains that show up, only to make villains that can solo the both of them at their peak anyway

4th Ninja war was pretty dope, don't understand the hate/disinterest for it.

As someone rewatching, I do realize that it's far more interesting as an anime water than a manga reader because my friend is a manga reader and I'm realizing they do far more with it in the anime than they do manga.
