Props to TC, this is a hard choice. These are 4 great wrestlers, but yeah Edge loses out. He really cant compare to the others on this list.

Yeah I was trying to think of dudes that were fringe top guys instead of top guys themselves. Maybe never the most popular or best of their eras but consistently maybe around top 5 or so.

I think Rey is an interesting study and I'm a bit biased cuz I'm a San Diego native lol. But he did bring that aura of undersized underdog in an era when big hulking muscle dudes were beloved. And also his impact of bringing luchadore style wrestling (along with Eddie?) to WCW/WWE. There were others like Psychosis, La Parka, Ultimo Dragon, but Rey was by far the most popular and lasted longest and I feel like WWE was consistently trying to find the next Rey for quite some time.

Honestly shocked at how many people are saying Edge so easily. Losing out on both TLC Triple Threat Tag Team matches, the entire E&C tag team, La Familia, and his feud with John Cena and others really loses a ton of pretty iconic modern day WWE moments.

Jericho...well you lose Money in the Bank which I guess is one of those "both ways" things because for every Seth Rollins cash in you have a Damien Sandow cash in that makes it look ridiculous and dumb. You also lose the shock of him as Undisputed Champion but I feel like you could easily replace him with a dozen or more midcarders in that stretch of time and through WCW if he didn't exist that could have done the mantle as well.
