It's worse than that because the legal system actually worked properly but the governor of the state is so racist he basically said "Nah it's okay to kill black people"

"Stand Your Ground" my ass. The dude turned his car directly towards where the protestors were, instead of simply avoiding them. He put himself into the situation and then immediately got scared and opened fire. It's bullshit that he's being pardoned.

I fucking hate Abbot, I still remembering at Parkland for an appointment and his political ad came up saying he was a loving individual and just how wholesome and amazing he is as a person, it was all just so fucking scummy and disgustingly bull shit, guess what followed it, an attack ad on Democrats as a whole as and I quote "Against Texans, Against law, against common sense and against America". As someone said, in Texas we're massively suppressed and despite Dallas being a more liberal area you'll still get people bashing Biden, bashing Democrats and bashing California.

Because the protestors were "dangerous" and he was just defending himself. Which is bullshit.

I went to high school with Perry.

He was always a racist, psychotic piece of shit. He constantly used the N word and would say "terrorist" any time he was talking about a Middle Eastern person. He started a fist fight with a girl. He was always angry and shouting or arguing, often with himself or for no apparent reason. Dude literally never got in trouble though. He was let off the hook for things that other people would be suspended for.

More pertinent to the murder, he would come up with these scenarios in which he had to kill someone. His favorite was that the school was being invaded and he had to shoot his way out. This was in the wake of 9/11, so guess who he fantasized about killing. Those conversations the judge released were the exact things he would say in the cafeteria.

He wanted to kill someone for at least 20 years and made it happen in the exact way he fantasized about.

I hate this state.
