Out of curiosity, is Mondo anyone of interest? I suppose not since no one else saved him. I confused him for Mojo back at the first topic (who had no reason to be here, but I wasn't going to question it) & then just kept saving him because there were so many saves to go around that "guy with name I confused for someone else" would eventually hit the top of my priorities. I just messed up by saving Spiral twice & there were too many big names in danger later that I couldn't justify saving someone for a personal running joke.

Minor character. His biggest role looks to be when he appeared in around 10 issues of the 2019 New Mutants series, but I dunno how prominent he was in them.

Ah, about what I expected then. I was secretly hoping that he'd turn out to be someone cool, but I refrained from looking him up because I kinda suspected the allure of mystery character would be more interesting than the reality. Thanks for telling me!

Since I didn't know anyone from today's elims, I looked them all up and two are obscure with only one and three appearances, two are minor with 20-something appearances, one is more notable, and two are actually pretty major. In particular, it looks like a shit day for New X-Men fans.

Well... that's actually a good summation of his 90s Generation X character. IIRC, he was previewed as a member of Generation X before it came out, was seen on the beach in either first or second issue, and wasn't seen or heard again for like two years. And when he xame back, itwasn't actually him but someone posing as him to infiltrate the team.

I should go look it up, but yeah, a mystery character you know nothing about and hope turns out cool but really doesn't is Mondo's character.

Truuuuth. Dust, Kid Omega, and Martha Johansson/No-Girl were on my third tier of saves. I'm glad to have helped them out of the bottom 100, wouldn't have minded seeing them hit top 100, but weren't a priority. Figured Cerevella might've made it a bit further along than Escspade, but alas.
