I'll have to see what it gets like in the summer but so far I've just left the windows open and I can modulate the temp pretty easily.

i don't use a thermostat. don't want a 200$ electric bill

however if it does get hot, the fan is going up (i don't want to have a seizure incident again due to heatstroke).

Well I just use a window unit in an RV. That's my thermostat. When it's not needed it's unplugged.
