Beef doesn't agree with me, I'm all about that Turkey life though! I love a Turkey burger with cheese and an egg on it.

I have a friend who is a health nut. Eats pretty clean and runs like crazy all the time. He would eat an occasional Turkey burger and I would give him shit about it in a friendly way. Fast forward a few years and I ate a Turkey burger one day and it was absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed it.

But I still prefer beef burgers. A good Turkey burger though is good. I also enjoy a really good chicken sandwich with lettuce and tomato as well so it really isn't much different than a Turkey burger.

This.

Maybe it was the one that I had, but I didn't enjoy it much for that very reason. I'll eat it again if I'm offered one, but I'm in no rush to have one again.

If you like Hamburgers but don't like Turkey Burgers it means you've never had a good Turkey Burger. Which is not surprising because 85% of people make terrible Turkey Burgers, and I'm including and especially restaurants.

Most people cook Turkey Burgers exactly how they cook hamburgers, and that's a big mistake. There is cooking science to making a good turkey burger.

If you're actually interested this video goes into
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_d2bSr1nPTw&list=PLXX9uEL2Mo0ykWDWASzeDOfm7vYAhIpJz&index=2

I played around with the recipe a bit to fit my personal, different bread crumbs (or substitutes and sources of fat/oil. But the basics remained the same and I have never looked back.

Turkey Burger
A 4-ounce cooked turkey burger (made from a combination of dark and light meat) has 193 calories, 11 grams of fat, 3 grams of saturated fat and 22 grams of protein

Impossible Burger
19g protein (the same as 80/20 ground beef); 0mg cholesterol (6g saturated fat); 25% the daily value of iron; No antibiotics or animal hormones.

so yes it is healthier.

your forgetting god knows how many chemicals that go into making impossible burgers edible. I'm all for healthy eating, but if your going vegan food, go with real vegan food. Give you a quick story. My aunt had Indian tenants in her basement apartment. The Indian wife got pregnant and her mother came straight from India to help with looking after the baby. She made us REAL Indian Vegan food. For context I'm not Vegan, but its the only time in my life I ever said "If all Vegan food was like this, I would gladly go Vegan".

Also I checked what he for some reason didn't include(or included one sided, I should say). Impossible Burgers have more calories than turkey burgers as well. And way more fat including more saturated fat. And way more sodium. And way more carbs, including added sugar.

Also, Perdue poultry has no antibiotics, so that point is moot. And NO POULTRY IN THE US has added hormones, so that's also a moot point.

I can't see a single way in which impossible meat is healthier than ground turkey.

I've gotten used to my Pasta, Tacos, Meatloaf, and Chili being with Ground Turkey. I still want beef hamburgers sometimes. And I still use Ground Beef for Chili Sauce for Coneys. Turkey just doesn't work. But for almost everything else, we've been on Ground Turkey for like 25 years now. My mother switched us back in the day, and I'm still using it myself even now.

Complaining about chemicals in beyond stuff is nuts. There are way more hormones, anti-biotics, and "chemicals" in meat than in plant-based meat replacements.

Not all cholesterol is the same.

Low GI foods like turkey can also help increase levels of good HDL cholesterol in your body. HDL cholesterol travels through the bloodstream and helps to remove bad LDL cholesterol. LDL cholesterol can damage the walls of your arteries and increase your risk of heart attack and stroke. By eating foods like turkey that boost your HDL cholesterol, you can increase your resistance to these diseases.

And I already told you before you posted:

It's funny how you come back to the topic to respond by posting already debunked information as your defense.

Dude. Beyond Burgers are in no way healthier than Ground Turkey, and even Beyond Meat doesn't try to suggest it. They position themselves against BEEF. And they do okay in health against that on some points.
