Absolutely not, they're probably the biggest grocery scam there is. You're paying about ten times the price or more just to have somebody else cut your food for you. If you're not confident that you can cut a vegetable yourself with a knife, spend $20 on a Slap Chop. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Not only is it not worth it price-wise, but the precut stuff isn't as fresh. Like precut onions will be slightly translucent where they've been exposed to air and sitting out for a while.
The only thing precut I buy is julienned carrots because fuck doing that by hand. --- This is where cool people write stuff. ... Copied to Clipboard!

For vegetables you should get frozen unless you shop at a farmers market or something similar. Any fresh veggie at the grocery store was picked too early and ripened on the way, frozen was picked at the right time and stored properly, much better taste and nutrients than the other stuff.

The 'fresh' stuff cut daily in a store was sometime convenient when I didn't have a bunch of time after work for making dinner, but that was a very rare thing to do.
