Hellfire Armor is the only PA in either FO3 or NV that was cool enough for me to wear for longer than five minutes (though admittedly the classic Enclave Remnant armor in NV is sooooo incredibly campy that I couldn't help but enjoy wearing it for a bit). I have some fond memories of laying waste my enemies in the CW with my HF Armor and Heavy Incinerator.

I was pleased as punch that both of those got brought back in Fallout 4 as Creations (which are both free now).

Have you gotten the Tesla Cannon yet? I don't concede a lot of points in favor of Fallout 3, but FO3's Tesla Cannon >>>> NV's Tesla Cannon and its variants.

Actually I've been playing TTW the mod that combines FO3 and NV

Unfortunately no, you have to do a short quest and buy a ticket on a train. Bob can't afford the ticket (you need pre-war money) and is too dumb to do any of the ways to get around paying

FO4's colorful aesthetic was a hard pivot from 3's snot green and industrial gray, and on the whole it's one I appreciate.

I finished Operation Anchorage, it sucked because the only melee weapons available are the trench knife and the power fist and Bob isn't skilled in unarmed. Does anyone know if the winterized power armor bug is fixed in TTW? I might switch to it permanently if it has infinite durability

I did the Pitt and sided with Ashur, it was a tough choice for Bob. I honestly don't recall Point Lookout being all that memorable so I just finally went to the Mojave will probably do NCR or Independent since none of the other choices really mesh well with a morally good character. I have a mod that's supposed to make the post-ending playable but we'll see

PL was lauded mostly for its exploration, and for being a vacation of sorts from the dead industrial Capital Wasteland. The main quest was nonsensical and forgettable. It has one of best sidequests in the game (The Velvet Curtain), which unfortunately can only be truly enjoyed once, because prior knowledge allows you to easily skip the majority of the quest.

Unless you're really nuts for shooting mutant hillbillies, Fallout 4's Far Harbor did PL's vibe way better.

I tend to do the Khans quest fairly early for two reasons: chem recipes, and early access to Vault 3 so I can grab an ever-useful Vault Utility Jumpsuit without having to shoot the place up.
