Remember when that lying bimbo that got Emmett Till brutally murdered had her family protect her when people recently found her old ass?

It all depends, like anything in the crime and punishment sphere, on what your goals are.

All Nazi's should have been held accountable. Even the ones we brought in and shielded.

Yeah, I think that if they're discovered they should be arrested.

I just think that even 10 years ago "Nazi hunting" wasn't worth spending a lot of money/effort for, as it doesn't serve as a deterrent for committing war crimes. Not to mention that the countries that did the most of it doesn't comply with international criminal courts anyway. So what is it besides theater?

I shed no tears for former Nazis who are found and imprisoned for their crimes, but I'm not fist pumping in the air that "justice was served" at this point, so it's not worth much to me.

I disagree, I think showing that no matter how long it takes, you'll be found is absolutely a reason.

With that woman who got Emmitt Till killed, they found her arrest warrant after decades. It was hidden somewhere. I suspect a cop hid it and pretended to lose it. They found it before she died but chose not to enforce it. I think she died less than a year later. If it turns out Hell actually does exist, I'm sure she's there now

There shouldnt be a statute of limitations on certain crimes such as genocide

Wait, those are an actual slip of paper that needs to physically exist? I assumed it was digital for starters and also more like an indicator, like for this person they are to be arrested, like a yes/no sort of thing on their government profile

If I remember right, I think they found something from back in the day when it had just happened. As in the 1950s. So it wouldn't have been digital

Their entire ideology is to kill certain groups of people. They were killers. The ones around today follow that ideology.

Pretty much. Odds are someone who's been in hiding for so long is isolated, and you're doing them a favor by giving them what is probably more company and care than when they were isolated.

You know something that I just found out? Lynching was recently outlawed in 2022 as a hate crime signed by pres Biden. Its baffling how it took that long. You would think that should have been the first thing on the table to go for african american rights but wow.
