As long as it's not multiplayer. Though I don't get why speedruns allow those weird sequence breaking exploits since those clearly aren't intended.

Using cheats to gain an advantage online with others? Nah. Thats not cool.

It is perfectly fine to cheat as long as you're cheating by yourself. It's your time, spend as much or as little of it as you want.

Multiplayer seems like it'd invalidate the point of playing at all, though. Why not load up a singleplayer game in that case (inb4 "the point is making other people lose because I'm a sociopath")

I remember playing wwe SVR online and there was a headbutt move where the animation from getting hit by the headbutt wouldnt end before they could do the head butt again, so the match would start and theyd run and head butt you over and over until they pinned you

and I was always like, whats the point? How is that even fun?
