This is old information. They have learned sperm are cooperative and some even kamikaze to allow their "brothers" success.

I had a feeling someone would 'ackshually' this, but I didn't care enough to put a disclaimer in my initial post.

I HATE THIS SAYING. Like, with a passion.

Mainly becasue it's the sole reason my cousin gives for basically ANYTHING that doesn't go her way.

Car needs new tires? My uncle buys them because "I only have this car to get me to the job that YOU made me get!"

UberEats every meal, passes the CC Bill to her Mom. "You're the parent. It's your job to feed your children."

It's infuriating.

And then when people (admitted, rudely) asks her why she's still single and if she's met anyone, she has the never to say "I don't need anyone. I can take care of myself. I'm all that I need!"

i'm this way myself. could be a bad trait but i do ask for help if things start going bad.

namely the scenario where i was going to get evicted and the agency was going to help me with my rent for X amount of time (hopefully not permanent) would like to see it go to a level where i can cover it no problem.

I mean no one asks to be born. Gotta make the best of it though.

I hate the aesthetic of this, but I can't actually find fault in the logic. That she is such a way I'd their Gault. Either she was raised to be that way, or she was born that way, and they are responsible for both.

I am an anti-natalist. That said since Im here Im going to be the best me I can. Ive worked hard to do and be my best even though the overall experience of my first 40 years has been net negative.

Im never having kids and subjecting them to the rigours of life though.

What exactly is the issue? I don't see one.

The odd thing is, neither of her parents, nor her brother, are like this.

My uncle retired at 45 (firefighter), got another job (investigator for Geico) and then retired again at 60. My aunt is still working at 65 (retiring this month). Her brother was in the workforce and out of the house by 25.

Do her parents enable her? Absolutely. It wouldnt be happening otherwise. But I feel theres a difference between Mom and Dad will be there to cover my oh shit moments and Mom and Dad SHOULD be covering everything, because I didnt ask to be here

I've said similar on occasion, although moreso as an expression of my feelings that I didn't want to be here anymore. I don't use statements like that to absolve myself of responsibility or to justify sitting on my ass while expecting the world to bend over backwards for me.

As Adam Jensen's line goes, "I never asked for this," with "this" being my life, such as it has been.

Although I suppose that there isn't much difference between the two.

A contextual statement I guess. I wonder if people like Grand conjuration are able to understand that or if they think this is a catch all term for any and all situations. And I wonder if people feel like everyone is allowed to use this term or just certain people can.

It's a valid saying, but it's also a fuckin dumb one. Literally no one asked to be born(maybe after the fact they can be thankful or spiteful due to it). It is not a catch all excuse to whine about everything.
