A few months ago I had a day where I woke up and my right eye had blurred double vision. I went to an eye doctor and they found that my ocular nerve was a little swollen. It went away and hasn't happened since, but I had a follow up appointment with a specialist. He also saw some swelling in the nerve and decided I'm gonna get an MRI to see if there is any underlying issues in my brain/skull that would cause something like that.
He is not concerned, more just checking the boxes JUST in case there is something going on there. *shrug* --- https://i.imgur.com/GWG5c3r.gif ... Copied to Clipboard!

I had similar problem and it turned out to be not good. According to every neurologist I spoke with however, I was told cancer would affect both eyes so it's probably not that if it puts your mind at ease any. --- It says right here in Matthew 16:4 "Jesus doth not need a giant Mecha." https://i.imgur.com/dQgC4kv.jpg ... MRIs are cool. Hardest part about them is paying for them and sitting in the machine. The info you get from them help you out a great deal. Helped me out a lot with knee issues I had. Let me know it wasn't serious but I also wasn't immortal ... Copied to Clipboard!

I've done so many MRIs, and it really made me think about how the doctors haven't really used them to fix me. I just get prescribed useless pills and gels which don't actually cure my broken body.
I'm also somewhat claustrophobic so I keep my eyes shut when doing a full body MRI and listen to whatever they have playing on the headphones to distract from the noisy MRI machine sounds. If I open my eyes and see how tight the space is I'll hyperventilate and feel like that scene in Kill Bill. --- http://i.imgur.com/0UFI0T9.jpg ... Copied to Clipboard!

I hate MRIs, but all of mine have been for neck, back, shoulders, knees, etc. And the end result of the last one was that they want me to get surgery. Laminectomy & discectomy. Fat chance of that happening.
The hate I have for them is the pain I'm in when I'm in the machine in a terrible position for extended periods of time. I'm a big guy, so the space of the MRI is tight. They said Open MRIs aren't as accurate, so I have to squeeze my 300lbs+ ass into these bad boys. Ugh. Anyway, enough of my ranting. As long as you aren't claustrophobic, you should be fine. And I wouldn't stress about the swelling either. I think you'll have more answers when the MRI is done. --- I use Google... A lot.... >______> ... Copied to Clipboard!

The claustrophobia doesn't bother me at all but that "bed" they put you on is so uncomfortable and you can't move even an inch for hours. Then you get an itch on your face and it's like fucking torture because they always put that mask shit over your face so you can't scratch it. --- It says right here in Matthew 16:4 "Jesus doth not need a giant Mecha." https://i.imgur.com/dQgC4kv.jpg ... i had to get one during the "seizure incident" back when i didn't decide to use Air conditioning. not enough fluids and it was a hot house. have no memory of it occurring and then waking up in the back of an ambulance. they said i was dehydrated bad. though the MRI couldn't pick up anything going wrong in my brain that would've triggered it.
ended up with a fucked up back for a month and a hurt arm for 2 weeks (seems the jerking movements of seizures can hurt the muscles badly). --- currently playing: elder scrolls skyrim (ps5) RIP Sophie the dog: February 2011-april 2024. we'll miss you alot. ... Copied to Clipboard!

TC I will send good will towards you and hope it's not serious.

Had some MRI something like 18 years ago as a teen.
Wasn't that bad at all, so don't worry about that. About your issue: You went to a doctor, he found nothing so far, and your issue is gone on it's own already, right? Then simply don't worry. You and your doctor are playing it safe and that's a good thing, but everything is fine atm, and there is no reason to assume otherwise.
