Ive got my issues with XVI, but that Bahamut is an all-time series high point. Lots of fun to use too.

Gotta be XIV or XVI Bahamut for sure. Both bossfights could go into a great game design course and no one would question their inclusion.

I was thinking 10 myself, both design and the implied being the Child Fayth of Exposition.

Voted VIII though XVI's was cool as well. IV's is pretty memorable too. I hardly remember X's Bahamut.

Dion is a good character and Bahamut has some fun abilities in XVI but I don't love Bahamut's design in that game. It's not bad at all, but not that great imo

Kind of the opposite for X where I don' care about the fayth but Bahamut looks cool (but still fun to use)

2 of the most hype moments in gaming for me personally were

1. Being present for the shutdown of XIV 1.0 and watching the cinematic kick in as the server shut down. It was such an oh shit moment that I haven't had another game replicate

2. When we first beat Bahamut in XIV as a raid team after weeks of trying on the final run of the day after wiping at 0% the previous run. It was 2 weeks before they made changes to FCOB so was nice to get the win on essentially hard mode

So XIV gets the easy vote for me

One of the best cinematics in any game ever and, depending on how you saw it, it's either the very last or the the very first cutscene that is in the game.

Of the games where he's a summon probably FF7. Really badass animation there.

XV's could've been great if all the DLCs came out and we got the complete story with him as the main antagonist.

Characterwise I don't recall Bahamut having anything to do in the other games, it's usually an optional late boss at best. Neat summon, though.

Bonus points if they're actually plot relevant.
