It's a morbid dark comedy slasher. I watched this movie because Alan Tudyk is in it and I'm a huge fan so some people recommended I watch this movie.

A bunch of college kids mistake a couple of hillbillies for serial killers, and attempt to try and kill them, to ridiculously over the top bloody results.

Also has Katrina Bowden from 30 Rock. Hilariously surreal to see Cerie here. Pretty great casting all around.

I love that movie. A pretty great twist on the genre.

I agree, pretty much always watch this during the Halloween season.

I went in completely blind for that movie and absolutely loved it. Years ago I was at Target and there was a copy of the Blu-ray in the clearance section that was an uopened returned copy for like $5. I picked it up and saw who was on the cover and bought it. I didn't even read the premise on the back. I'm so glad I did it that way because it made it even better.

watched it for the first time when my wifes aunt came to visit us. it definitely was not what I was expecting but it was a good flick lol

Plus, I'm not even a fan of horror movies or slashers but I really enjoyed this movie, so I don't think you even need to be all that familiar with the genre to like it. Definitely recommended for a watch.

A downright national, international treasure.

I just realized where I recognized his friend Dale. He's the ape wrangler in Rise of the Planet of the Apes! Or otherwise known as literally patient zero of the ape virus, who kicks off the entire credits scene infection.

Movie was fantastic. An absurdly unique horror movie.

I'm actually watching Deadbeat which he starred in for Hulu. He's fun actor in most things.

First time I saw this scene of him running around the corner waving the chainsaw and yelling I completely lost it.

I know him as Sock from the extremely underrated CW show Reaper.

Love that movie. Probably watched it at least 3-4 times.

It's ridiculously hilarious, but the scene that got me was when one of the college kids lunges at Tucker who is bent over near a wood chipper minding his own business... and the kid straight up lands in the wood chipper, with the blood spraying on one of the girls nearby. That left me gasping. Similar scenario was done in Deadpool 2 specifically the use of wood chipper.

Watched some of the extras. There's a short where they edit the movie to make it seem like Tucker and Dale are evil, shown from the college kids' point of view.

It's hilarious that they both still come across as goofballs a little bit. In the best way. Movie really does deserve its cult status.
