I got 100% items in Super Metroid.

I never bother to 100% anything anymore. It's often just too tedious. The only games I've ever 100% are Zelda OoT/MM, Kingdom Hearts 1, and Resident Evil 4 and 5. And maybe a few older platformers and Mario Karts where you're only beating things and not collecting items.

the last major game was crash bandicoot trilogy.

Replayed Shadow Of The Tomb Raider a few months back and got 100% on it for the first time ever.

GTA San Andreas. A few years ago I decided to 100% the PS2 trilogy. III and Vice City weren't too bad, but San Andreas took some time and effort.
