I can't find a dub or subbed version of the trailer. But supposedly the plot is a goddess summons a whole Japanese class to save her world. Everyone aquires magical powers except the MC who gets thrown away by the goddess into some dungeon or something

But then he figures out he does have powers and learns how to use them to claw his way back up to where the classmates and goddess are, and plans to kill the goddess

I know people are burnt out on isekai but I always like a good revenge story

So it's just Rising of the Shield Hero again from the sounds of it. Isekai is such a fucking blighted genre, almost totally bankrupt of any interesting or novel concepts.

So I'm a Spider, So What? is good at least. Is I'm in Love with the Villainess considered an isekai?

Maybe they should have one where the Mc is considered a hero and his class is dumped so they all vow revenge on him for once. It's so straightforward but everyone keeps telling the "twist everyone underestimates the Mc story" so much they forgot to hit this obvious target.

Maybe its my lack of experience with the genrebut I find it funny when you mention the lack of originality in said genre with respect to a theme I dont recall having seen in the genre yet (speaking for myself).

I think a good old fashioned fuck you revenge story would be neat here instead of the usual fish out of water becomes a paragon of virtue and heroics.

Arifureta is nearly the same. Except the main guy did get powers, but they were pretty shit, and it was a klassmate that betrayed him and sent him tumbling down into the depths of a dungeon. Lastly, he is not hellbent on revenge and just wants to ignore the world and go home, but sure enough, various antags insist on getting in the way.

There's one with a spin on it too where the demon lord comes to this world and gets a job at McDonalds. The name escapes me at the moment, but it has enough fans that I'm sure someone pop in with the title.

Isekai Ojisan/Uncle From Another World, perhaps? It's more of a comedy where the main character trying to get used to living in a normal world after coming back from another world.
