High fever, severe body pains (especially in my joints) and diarrhea that kicks in as soon as I ingest anything. I have to drink on the toilet.

No respiratory symptoms yet but I can feel my right nostril feeling a little funky, so it's a coming.

Also have no idea where I could've gotten it because I was around maybe three people this week and none of them were sick. I'm kind of wondering if I got it from an animal at work.

This shit sucks ass. I've literally never felt this bad in my life.

Damn, are you fully vaxxed? I've gotten it a few times, none of which were bad after being vaccinated.

I first got it in December 2019 when a ton of people in the Midwest had what was thought to be a really bad flu year. That was 2 weeks of straight in the bed feel godawful

When I first got COVID, I had a severe sore throat and incessant coughing, two of the worst combinations to have.

Im up to 8 now.

I consider myself incredibly lucky that I've still yet to get COVID despite being a merchandiser who travels a lot each day for work.

Even being up to date on vaxxes it was still a cold that disabled all taste for a week.

can eat. but you cant smell/taste the food. i hope that fate doesn't happen.

also to note: maybe one of your co-workers somehow gave you the illness if that's who you interacted within the past week.

First I had the vid, after I got over it I had horrible pain in literally all my joints, even stuff like my jaw muscles. I'd wake up in the morning completely stiff and in massive pain just from getting out of bed. Took naproxen on Dr's advice and it didn't help much, but the pain went away on its own after about a week.

Had COVID four times in total, haven't had that weird pain again the other 3 times. Last time was super mild probably because I'd just had a booster. Lasted like 2 days and was just a mild cold.

I finally knew I had it when I had a sore throat.

I didn't even get the poo poo doo doos. I just had aches all over, it made my iffy lower back hurt constantly. I think it gave me a sinus infection and stuff smelled off for weeks.

Oh yeah I did have a 102-103 fever for like 2 days.

I had it in June of last year for the first time. Got it again right now AND the flu. Thankfully, I've never had any of the more severe/debilitating symptoms. I've felt worse in the past from previous illnesses than I ever have with my two cases of covid, so far, at least. Congestion/coughing. Weak feeling for a couple days. Feeling ok now except for the congestion and coughing/sneezing.

Make sure you walk around so you don't get pneumonia.

It was brutal for me in January. The first time I got Covid, I didn't know I had it and was back to work two days later. This most recent time, I had to take nine days off.

Worst part of it for me was I would instantly get really awful chills if I ever stopped overheating myself in my blanket so I was pretty miserable. Thankfully the worst of it started to pass on the third day. Hopefully that's the case for you.

Had it exactly like that too.

no headache, no other symptoms (just some fever I didn't even notice myself), but a throat so fucked up that I could not even drink tea without coughing and pain. Or, lie down for 30 minutes.

Just coughing up gallons of slime 24/7, until my throat felt maimed from the inside, and then coughing some more.

I was boosted, but sadly my booster was already a while before that. I was thinking about getting another shot before winter, but was hesitating too long.

Not COVID-19. Is salmonellosis. Four other people got it at work, that we know of. Will explain more when I feel better.

Dang, what'd you eat that had raw eggs or raw chicken in it? Or do you work with some idiot who believes in "raw milk" being healthy?
