I don't think I've ever spent the night anywhere nicer than like a 3 star hotel maybe. Mix of affordability and reasonable cleanliness/quality > quality of location.

Probably the Venetian. There was a nice hotel in Sacramento, as well.

Ended up with a honeymoon suite on a business trip all to myself because the hotel was nearly fully booked.

Our condo in Turks and Caicos for our honeymoon. It was sort of like those villas they stayed at in that movie couples retreat. The dining room had a glass floor where you could see the ocean underneath you and we had a miniature pool and hot tub on our balcony where you can jump off straight into the ocean.

Once at the Four Seasons. It was actually too fancy (and expensive) for me lol. It was creepy that they knew who I was on like...day 2.

Fancy hotel in Tokyo (Odaiba). Bidet toilet with heated/cooled seats, prebathing area and a shower/tub, and there was a large window where you could see into the bed area and past that the Rainbow Bridge outside

Got upgraded to the top floor suite at the Hyatt Regency in San Antonio. It definitely wasn't the nicest hotel or most exotic location I've stayed in, but that room was absolutely stunning. There were more rooms every time I turned a corner
