I honestly dont think I have one. Been gaming regularly since 1980 and cant think of anything I am ashamed about. Maybe how much I gamed throughout my 20s and 30s if I was forced to pick something. I would game a ton when I wasnt working. It was my primary source of entertainment for a couple decades. Like a lot of hours. I wouldnt go out, just stay home and game.

Also, tried to beat that prick final boss on PS2 Shinobi's hardest difficulty probably 50 times or better; never managed to.

I never beat the original Super Mario Bros whereas my dad did a no-hit run... I surpassed him in a million other games but this one still eats at me

I haven't played most Zelda games, including OOT

I've only played Super Metroid and Prime 3, tried Fusion and the original but didn't like and never finished them

I've owned RDR2 for about 5 years and still haven't gotten around to playing it

I've owned it, played it, and quit because I found it super tedious.

I traded my copy of Suikoden 2 to my friend for Parappa the Rapper. I had only gotten about 7 or 8 hours into it.

Only thing I can recall in recent memory is cheating in Terraria by going to a free item server and getting a bunch of prismatic lacewings because I got sick of trying to get them en masse the normal way.

This is basically me now. The only games in recent memory that I've sat down and played for hours on end are BotW/TotK and the FF7 remakes. It's like I keep chasing the joy of what it was like to play games as a kid but it's just so difficult to find.

I used the babymode armor for the final boss of Doom Eternal because I was just fed up with it and wanted it to be over.

I might have actually kept playing RDR2 if I'd gotten it on console. For some reason, I couldn't get it to work correctly on dual monitors (one of them being my TV). If I clicked outside the game, it'd shrink down to an unplayable window until I restarted it.

I've never finished a Zelda game

I'm terrible at video games. I can hang with practice, but I've rarely beat games.
I also don't play that much anymore; maybe a couple times a month for a couple hours.

I bought Baldurs Gate 3.

My runescape (not oldschool) account got hacked.I didn't have 2 factor authentication enabled I also thought the hacker was a game dev since he spoofed a jagex email so I told them my pin to prove that I was the owner of the account . They emailed me like immediately after i sent an account recovery request. All of this was preventable.

I lost a Halloween mask set, Santa hat, Black Santa hat, blue/white/red/yellow/purple party hats, x-mas scyth, Easter egg, and like maybe 3 max cash stacks at the time? These are all rare items that aren't being brought into the game anymore so worth a lot of ingame currency.

Ohh that sucks. Some of those old holiday items/sets were so cool.

I spent like 5/10 minutes in the car in Shattered Memories wondering how to get out before I realized you can just unlock the door.

I'm not ashamed of anything.

Occasionally, I play games on easy. Not very often, just sometimes. Never felt ashamed because of that. Free time's too precious to waste time, I'd rather have a relaxing gaming experience after work.

That being said, I never had any problems to beat a Souls game. So it's not that I'm bad at gaming. It's just that I don't need a challenge to enjoy games.

I've got another. When I used to play Rocket League, it got to a point where other people were just absurdly good and I was trash. Then I came up with a new way to play. I just drive around and boost into the other team, blowing them up. People would get so mad and I'd always have the biggest shit-eating grin every time, moreso when said blowing up leads to a goal for us.

If anyone tells you they beat Hiruko on Super in under 50 tries, they are a liar.

I got stuck in sekiro where you fight the gorilla and he tosses his own shit at you.

To finally 100% Plants Vs. Zombies on Steam I had to use the sun multiplication glitch with macros on my keyboard to finally beat the iZombie endless 10 streak... after I had somehow accomplished it on a flippin' Android version.

Clueless on how to progress through the Cave to Rhone (Now localized as Cave to Rendarak) in Drahon Quest II which I got in 1991.

Floor 2 being a looping area.

Even a Nintendo Power counselor direction didn't help. Yeah like real life, I understand directions better with visual aid. Finally learned how to progress via GameFAQs and won the game. In 1998.

Oh I thought of another. I cheesed The Lost wins on the 3DS version of The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. You can hit the home button during the death animation to quit out and then come back into the game where you last were.
