Summer is the worst season. It gets to the high nineties and low 100s with like 50%+ humidity and I hate that.

Yep. High on Friday is 98.

When it's cold everyone is always bemoaning wanting it to be Summer, and now that it is, they're complaining about the heat! I agree the heat is bad, but I'd rather deal with the cold than the heat. Winter is always getting the short end of the stick, he's underrated. Summer is enjoyable for like one week in June and then it's bad.

On topic, earlier this year I bought a brand new standing A/C unit with a hose that points out the window. It replaced my old 5,000 BTU window unit, and this one is 8,000 BTU. The difference is huge. With the old window unit, if it was over ~90 I could tell it struggled hard to keep up, the room would still be kinda humid, etc.

This new one stomps 100 degree temperatures with ease. And I don't have to think too much about it because it's not actually exposed to any elements outside.

the grass is always greener. i didn't mind winter. just hated the damn rain and ice.

by that time i need to buy a grocery utility kart (would make trips to the store easier if i have to carry an umbrella) in non blustery conditions.

I love the summer. Reason being when you live in freezing cold Britain it is nice to finally get some heat.

Although in saying that we haven't had a lot of that so far. The highest we have had so far was 24Celsius. The last couple of weeks it has been only in the mid to high teens Celsius but it is expected to reach the low twenties Celsius next week.

Oh and I am not converting to Fahrenheit. It is not my fault the US can't use Celsius like the rest of the planet.

Summer is literally the best season for me.

Spring: Too much pollen
Winter: Freakin hate the cold
Autumn: No real downsides but...
Summer: BBQs, swimming, sitting on the porch just because, cherries are in season

Pretty much. And of course spring and fall are the nice, temperate seasons. Shit-ass summer and winter last like 5 months each, but spring and fall? You maybe get one month of each, spread out with a few days here, a few days there.

I'm chilling in spring and then suddenly it's 700 degrees and of course, THAT'S when everyone wants to go outside

This is why autumn is the best season. The temperature is cool but not cold, and the all trees look pretty.
