Great. My understanding is that basic life skill classes like this used to be normal at the high school level. This will be a great help for all the kids who pay attention in this class.

I would have much rather had a class like this (thankfully my parents got me on the up n' up about personal finance) compared to friggin' gym being mandatory back when I was in highschool. *Which all we had to do was simply change clothes and that was it......all us students just fucked off for about a hour or so and no one cared.*

I am outraged at this!! How dare they teach soon to be adults how to manage their personal finances? Who do they think they are, trying to make sure people understand how to budget based on their income and avoid falling into some seriously shitty debt traps? We cannot stand by and allow these schools to force our children to understand how to make reaponsible financial decisions!!

Its not the most horrible thing ever but...just shows that America really is a place were your worth is how good you are at" Business" and everything else is just a " hobby you can pull off in your free time if your good enough to be able to do anything else."

This is the perfect example of stupid shit progressives say for the sole purpose of appearing more politically left of their peers. Financial literacy is objectively one of the most important qualities to have as an adult. You cant possibly spin this any other way. Its just as important to learn in school as reading, writing, math, history, ethics, etc.

Not having classes like these are why a late family member lamented their kids can't budget to save their lives. I keep hearing lately how they don't have any money and they blew their inheritance in no time.
