Nelson Mandela was in Pokemon Snap?

I've never heard of this before lol.

Though as to "why", it's probably just because the set-up is very similar to the Charmeleon -> Charizard evolution which *is* real and probably one of the most memorable evolutions to trigger for young kids. "Knock a pokemon into a nearby hole and they come out evolved." I could see a lot of people trying that on Psyduck, then later in life creating a false memory, their brain filling in the blanks with the Stadium model.

That's literally what the Mandela Effect is, when a large amount of people remember something incorrectly.

A popular example is the spelling of "Berenstain Bears." A large amount of people remember it being spelled "Berenstein," when it never actually was.

i liked pokemon snap back in the day but im hardly an expert. and even i know golduck and ninetails arent in it

Uhh, I think he rebranded, actually.

That being said, I dont think he still holds the same beliefs that landed him in so much trouble way back when, but a bad reputation is kinda hard to shake off once youve gained one, just saying.

Looking into it, the posts in question came from 2018, and they were... Extremely vehement views, which he never apologized for, so I'd say the likelihood that they've actually changed is incredibly small, and the only thing that changed is what they're willing to say in public, now.

yea i browsed his twitter and its only talking about N64 games

if he had changed his views youd think he would be very very vocal about hating nazis

He did a stream where he apologized and took questions from disappointed viewers but I don't know if you can find that anymore.
