Nah. I've tried to get into it multiple times (most recently a month or two back) but it's just awful. Tedious, boring, and 8 hours in I'm still waiting for the story to progress beyond "we're going on a walk!" X is the beginning of the series downfall.

It is in my top 3 Final Fantasy games back when Squaresoft was killing it before the merger. It will always be in my top 3 with OG VII and Tactics. I know the game is always divisive but really the entire series is. One person's favorite is another ones least favorite.
To me it was the last great FF game. Now the series is dead to me. But man I loved it back then. That run from VI through X is crazy good with the only title I didn't like being VIII. Replayed it not too long ago. It's a fun game. I even got into blitzball this time which I hadn't messed around with much before. Though some of the other optional content is too tedious to be worth doing. I feel like it would be a pain in the ass to 100% that game if you were inclined to do that.

I remember it had one of the slowest of burns of any FF when it came out, but once it got going, it was one of my favorites.
