Seen clips of him at the RNC including when he first walked in, and he looked like he REALLY didn't want to be there. Including a cringing smile when they started chanting "fight!"

He might be worried the next one (assuming he's fearing there could be another attempt at some point) won't miss. And honestly I can understand feeling like that.

I mean, there are an infinite number of things to make fun of Trump for but being a little nervous in large crowds a couple of days after somebody literally came within inches of assassinating you I'm sure has a pretty severe psychological effect on people.

Then he probably should have built up some sort of a tolerance from wishing death on so many American citizens. He should absolutely be afraid of what he has sown. There are many many more people out there that would blow his brains out without a second thought. For his own sake, he should disappear from the face of the earth forever.

I personally wasn't poking fun yesterday when I suggested that shit just got very real for a man who before this has never in his life experienced any real consequences for his actions and behavior; one who skirts past legal repercussions thanks to a system stacked in his favor, and sat back comfortably as he directed a swarm of rednecks to attack the Capitol. He knows now that he's on the frontlines of the culture war he himself stirred into a frenzy.

One can only hope that this results it at least some miniscule amount of positive self-reflection, even if neither he nor his campaign would admit to such publicly.

He's now at a point where owes almost half a billion dollars to the state of New York, pending appeal and owes E. Jean Carroll about $90 million, with at least a few more lawsuits on the books that have yet to be finished.

I seriously question whether he understands the financial situation he's in. Does he believe the bullshit he's spouting or is he just putting on a show?

I believe there is some part of the guy that realizes everything bad that has happened to him is a direct result of his own actions and behavior.

Personally I think it's harmless when one's not pretending to be acting in any kind of 'professional' capacity, and is just speculating over a public figure. Where it crosses the line (again, imo) is when people start doing that to alleged criminals to form concrete opinions on their guilt: "OMG her eyebrow twitched and she laughed inappropriately that one time, what a sociopath, she totally did it!!"

Most communication is non-verbal. Its normal to consider things like expressions. I dont see how this is supposed to be a political thing. Id agree some people take an analysis too far, but to call it quackery is nonsense

I expect him to try maintaining his facade, as image is everything to him, but I imagine he'll secretly, deep down inside, be a different person after being shot at. Imagine someone shoots for your head and you know they definitely intended to shoot you square in the head but you're still alive by dumb luck. That has to leave a lasting mark psychologically.

He's realizing that every day could be his last.

Yeah, it's not quackery in and of itself. The quackery is when analysts use it to paint specific pictures or come to a specific conclusion from a body language element that could mean like 3 different things.

Nope. I don't know why anyone thinks Trump would change in the least bit after this. His ego is so fucking askew to the point when he WAS getting shot at, the first thing he thought of was to stand up and play 'strongman' when the Secret Service was trying to protect him.

The only way I see this bastard really changing, is that he's going to become paranoid as all hell that someone else might succeed where Crooks had failed, and in response, start purging the GQP of people he thinks are ambitious enough to want his top spot (while continuing to publicly blame "the left" for both this particular attempt on his life as well as any others that might pop up, in a bid to justify targeted killings of basically everyone that isn't a 24/7 MAGA).
