Different locations within the hospital. Usually to a testing site to their room or vice versa.

oh god... wasn't a great experience on a blood draw.

they didn't pull from the knuckle, but that fucker hurt when they had to pop the vein to get some blood for a vial.

other than the finding out the pre-diabetes issue. i have high white blood cell (getting scolded on tuesday since i did a poor job taking care of my body).

There isn't much to it. You need to make sure things are documented.

And yeah, my sig is Ultros, one of my favorite characters.

So basically Crazy Taxi, but set in a hospital and youre picking up and dropping passengers off in a wheelchair/gurney?

I started as a patient transporter at my hospital 16 years ago while I finished school. Did it for a little over a year. Helps you get comfortable with dealing with different types of patients. The job itself was mind numbingly boring though.

I do something along those lines too as a volunteer driver for the American Cancer Society, where you can sign up to drive people to/from their cancer treatment visits. I've always wanted to do something like that in my spare time for some reason and I had a good excuse now that I have a CUV instead of a coupe.

I've only been able to do it 3 times though in the last ~4 months because most appointments are during weekday work hours, and my last 2 cancelled. One forgot because she was completely delirious after treatment and somehow arranged another trip back home, and had to focus on that explanation from one of her medical assistants because I was initially a little irritated that I drove 20 miles one way for nothing. The other cancelled the night before
