TLDW:
-Kenny wants a car, but doesn't want to spend the 80 bucks it would cost to fill it up every time it needs a new tank of has.
-Shaq claims that if you only let the car go down to half-full, and then put 20 bucks in it, it will bring the car back to full, meaning that you don't need to pay the 80 bucks to fill it up.

I've heard the don't let it go past half before there was some kinda logic the person used but I forget it.

Also seen someone say get gas at night saying during the day it's hot so more of it is vapors lol.

Should be early morning, that's when it's coldest

Also technically between 1/4 and 1/2 would be "ideal" since it means a lighter gas tank and less weight means burning less fuel but I don't really think it has a meaningful effect

May have been early morning.

Also remember the one about leaving a truck tailgate down so there's less wind resistance

I think the Mythbusters busted that one.

Yeah idk about right at the tailgate but I know sitting against the can during rain I didn't feel a single drop except when the driver stopped at signs or lights

I've heard something about the engine working more efficiently when the tank is closer to full?

I'm not sure about that but my uncle always said a car should be at least 1/4 full at all times, if you run a car on fumes it's far more likely to have issues with dirt getting into the fuel system or some other issues.

If your fuel filter is working dirt won't be an issue. With fuel pumps being in the gas tank now, they're cooled by gas. They usually need 1/4 of a tank to be optimally cooled
