If youre anywhere south of Austin, you have some sporadic rural red but basically every city is blue. Obviously big cities are too (Houston and Dallas), and most of their suburbs. But between central TX and El Paso, up in the panhandle, anywhere to the East that isnt the Houston area, and even a lot of places within 100m of I-35 that arent Dallas or Austin metropolitan areasthey can get red and in a scary way. The Midland/Odessa area is all pretty much red as well, the great plains or whatever its called, and the hill country. But yeah, Im in the San Antonio area and Ive seen one Trump supporter on my street and even still there is no hostility around here. You basically have to manufacture the conflict with rallies and protests, otherwise people here tend to just mind their own business or behave politely in interaction. I live near a major city, and from what I understand when it comes to most red states the tend to be significantly more blue than the rest of the state. And it checks out as I when I do hear Trump or some other prominent Republican brought up, its almost always about how awful they are.
