There's creatively nothing left they could do or accomplish since RAM. They made an "analog" album based off all the music that inspired their first three albums.

Although I dont personally like them and to me they werent that big in the states they were a HUGE band in the UK and other parts of the world. It shows how big regional differences can matter.

Oasis.

They are fucking beloved in the UK.

Outside of that everyone I think of from my perspective in the US is old as hell and many people have died. Im almost 50 and listen to older stuff so its hard finding big bands where everyone is still alive.

Fugazi would be huge. They have not disbanded or quit, but have been on hiatus since the early 2000s.

I would prefer they didn't. It obviously wouldn't affect any of the albums they put out or work they've done, but they were never in it for the money and I like the mystique of a band that was around for 10-15 years, released their best work last, and rode off into the sunset

For me personally it would be Catherine Wheel. My favourite band that most people haven't heard of.

They've been making noises about getting back together for the last ten years, but they never actually do it.

Yeah, he's been in/out of the band pretty regularly. I think anymore it's a matter of "if he's willing, he's in."

I don't think D'arcy will ever rejoin the band. She's seemed content to stay out of the public eye for 25 years and I don't think she and Billy ever buried their respective hatchets.

[LFAQs-redacted-quote]

Why? They were pretty massive back when MTV has still relevant. The following isn't what it used to be, but they still inspire a lot of nostalgia.

I get extreme nostalgia listening to their older music actually. Very 90s vibes. Their music was great up to Adore, and they put out some other ok stuff here and there, but unfortunately they haven't done anything interesting (imo) in over two decades.

The 9 surviving members still tour. They're playing Vegas in September.

https://consequence.net/2024/03/wu-tang-clan-las-vegas-residency/

Wu-Tang Clan are set to continue their takeover of Las Vegas in 2024 with additional shows at the Theater at Virgin Hotels.

Wu-Tang Clan: The Saga Continues The Las Vegas Residency initially kicked off over Super Bowl weekend in February and was followed by another pair of concerts on March 22nd and 23rd. Now, two additional shows have been scheduled for September 27th and 28th.

The residency has thus far featured all nine members of Wu-Tang Clan RZA, GZA, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Raekwon, Masta Killa and Cappadonna, as well as a surprise appearance from Redman and a live nine-piece band.

There's still a large gap between willing and able. Ozzy hasn't been able to walk without support for years, and Ward hasn't been in great shape and has had a great many surgeries. I have no reason to doubt that Tony and Geezer could do one more show, but the last time we've seen Ozzy perform, he was literally hoisted up by a metal support system and lip-synced behind pretaped vocals. He was booked for Power Trip last year, and wasn't able to do it. And I know Ward has been recording music on and off over the past decade, but AFAIK he hasn't done more than the briefest of studio live appearances.

I do not think Sabbath can do one more full show. I think the absolute most you can expect is a 10-minute performance at a charity event.
