After being in hospice last year early in the year like February? I thought he would be gone soon. 90% never make it past 6 months. Then in November when his wife died I thought for sure that would be the end and he would be gone by the end of the year. Too many times Ive seen that when a long time spouse passes. But here we are in August and hes still going and closing in on another birthday. Id give good odds against him not making it to see that birthday even though it isnt very far away. I hope he does, but hes just been through too much and the fact he is alive after so much time in hospice isnt a miracle, but instead an anomaly.
