I remember me and my buddies paid the (I think $99) on Pay-Per-View to watch Woodstock '99. It was awesome! We stayed in the house and watched all three days.

I was too young for 94 but 99 took place in my hometown and I remember it vividly. My mom found two 19 year old girls at Walmart and let them sleep at our house instead of camping so they could be safe and clean lol I remember covering my computer tower with a thick comforter while I logged into AOL so the modem connection noise wouldn't wake them up

I wonder if they ever think about us.

I watched '94 for free via a black box. Woo!

Like many people, all I really remember from it at this point this:

Disturbing thought for the day - we are now farther away from Woodstock '94 than Woodstock '94 was from the original Woodstock.

Yeah, we had one and I probably watched a bit, but I was a freshman in high school and I didn't really get into "music" until my junior year or so I don't remember ANYTHING about.

Watch the video I posted, it was pretty much the best part of the show.

It was the big story of the show at the time - NIN were only just sort of breaking into the mainstream at that point, and then they basically wound up completely overshadowing Metallica's performance afterward.

Time between when That 70s Show takes place and when it premiered: 19 years

Which was 26 years ago

The crowd destroyed the place after the fest ended cause they felt ripped off by the concert organizers:

I mean, it was Creed. Have you heard how bad it is even without the singer's messiah complex?

Like the Limp Bizkit and Korn sets? Alot of those women back then probably don't wish to reminded of that festival. The Limp Bizkit set during the song Break Stuff was Nu-Metal teenagers at it's finest.

I always thought of woodstock as a 60s thing, didn't know they held it in the 90s too.

I actually like Three Dollar Bill Yall and some of Significant Other. One of their comeback albums had that Endless Slaughter song that was good.

Nope. I didn't really follow music (other than videogame) until I got my boombox stereo in 1995.

I remember when it happened, but I was too young to know about any of the performances (well, more that I hadn't started listening to anything other than what my parents put on the radio when we went on road trips).

I had a few friends who went to 99, I didn't bother going since it was too expensive and they didn't really have any bands playing I was interested in seeing. The stuff that caused the chaos at 99 was pretty funny in retrospect, given that compared to some modern concerts it was relatively tame. Like could you imagine everyone burning down Coachella because of the food they serve?
