Im pretty sure someone or multiple people just keep a list and update it as they notice people get hit. If you look at your tag list, anyone who has 3 or less karma is gone (I believe). So just a quick glance at that list can tell you, and when people notice they will often mention it somewhere.

Edit: Which reminds me, I dont know if this user ever posted on CE, but theyre hit with purgatory as well.

Didnt the new Admin say 66,000 people have access to CE. If only 100 got banned that seems like there would still be thousands of people to keep this board active.

He was insufferable on the Switch board for defending even the very worst of Nintendo's behavior (Ex: defending not localizing games that should have been in the DS/Wii era). Felt like he is a gimmick poster with his bad takes.

I guess he also caused trouble on the Pokemon board? Missed it, but I doubt I missed much.

Im guessing a lot of the heavily invested individuals from the lifetime of this board have more alts stashed away than they can even remember how to access.

Yea. I stopped at D on the list. I just realized NeonOctopus was on the list. He got banned in 2022 way before CE went private for hornyposting. Either way he got counted twice on that list lol.

And 99% of those have most likely not logged in in the last 10 years or so...

Considering a majority of these people were constantly moderated/suspended anyway, is it really a huge loss that they don't post here anymore?

I feel like the board has been at the same level of activity.

No those were accounts with CE access so they had to have logged in within a year. It was a blatant misrepresentation of "can access CE" vs "actually uses CE"

Only a small portion of those people ever visited CE.
