Back in March Israel already had reported they had dismantled 20/24 hamas battalions. Since then they have continued killing remaining hamas including 2/3 of their leaders (one of them being the leader of its actual military wing) and as someone else in this topic pointed out the remaining leader likely has terminal cancer. Something Lucas himself has done on many occasions. Whatever. I used it because it was a nice, universally understood representation of grossly-disproportionate retribution I could think of. And I literally led off by saying I was editing the parameters by creating a hypothetical where the rebels were as bad as Hamas, because I knew people would get hung up on that. But apparently even that is too much for you guys, so I'll just delete it. The ACTUAL point was that Israel is currently doing the equivalent of blowing up alderaan. 80% of Gaza is a smoking crater, and they're happily blowing up schools full of children to kill one potential Hamas operative in the building.
