ESPN/SEC is now basically the ruling Gov't of College Football and has been for awhile. Recipe for SEC success : 1). Get biased and corrupt college football members of the AP to ALWAYS rank SEC teams higher than they should in preseason ranking 2). Schedule actual shit Non-Conference games for the first 3-4 weeks. Florida once went 20+ years in a row without playing a Non-Conference game outside of Florida. They then rise up in the ranking because of playing cupcakes. 3). Then when they play each other in Conference every loss is a "good loss" and they only drop 3-4 spots in the ranking compared to the 8-9+ spots the other conferences suffer when losing. 5). Play one conference game less than every other conference. So in week 9 when every other conference is playing conference games, the SEC gets a free week off by playing Div II teams. 4). Rinse and repeat for 25 years. They've gamed the system for a long time now.
