With how much Abyss keeps getting passed over, they must have great plans for that one.

I'm ready to revisit Abyss too. It's cool that it's on the 3DS but I prefer action games on consoles

Never had a 3DS, nor was the original released here.

Abyss and Destiny 2 have always been high on my wish list. I mean, multiple Symphonia remakes was great, but I played that originally on Gamecube.

After that I played Graces F and every Mothership release since. No idea why Abyss keeps getting skipped for a console/pc definitive/remaster.

Next year is it's 20th anniversary so I'm going to delude myself into thinking we'll get something then

despite abyss being a boring piece of shit, it is weird as hell that they chose graces f over literally anything else.

abyss is arguably one of the most popular titles in their back catalog, and while it has a 3ds release, it's not like that's relevant anymore. certainly it is less relevant than a ps3, so again, the choice of graces f is a weird one.

out of everything in their back catalog that absolutely needs brought to relevancy, like destiny 2, they choose fuckin graces, again.

graces has now, officially, gotten more support than the titles in the series that actually sell.

Damn that trailer made me remember how much I enjoyed that game.

nice, Graces had the best combat in the series imo

Nice. Not sure what system to get it on though. Probably the Switch since I also have Tales of Vesperia on it as well.
Hopefully my local Walmart will have physical copies available in January 2025.

Never played Graces, is it worth it? Only Tales games Ive played are Phantasia, Symphonia, Abyss and Xillia.

The general consensus is that it has some of the best combat in the series and the character interactions and skits are great but the story is poor and mainly about 'friendship is power' and 'protect my friends no matter what' and the soundtrack is weak overall (although there are some standout tracks). Personally I think it's worth it for the addicting combat

I wasnt a fan of this one. Didn't like the battle system and the plot was basically "friendship is magic".

That said though I loved the story ending and the post game plot

The story is cheesy and campy as all hell, but if you either have a high tolerance for that or can look past it, it's a very fun title. Probably my favourite Tales game other than Symphonia.
